HashDictionary.com is a community based dictionary for hashtags on Twitter. Hash tags have been described as collective digital bookmarks and are widely used throughout Twitter.
HashDictionary was started by Andrew Beeston in February 2009 after a realisation that though Twitter hashtags were mighty useful - they could also become a barrier to people understanding conversations and being involved.
