- SundayStar is an awesome hashtag for use on Sunday on Twitter. It IS NOT meant to be a list-as-many-people-as-possible tag. There are several others that do that already. No, this is an extra special shout-out to ONE person on Twitter that is a shining light in your world. While it would be great to list 10 Tweets with 10 people all tagged #SundayStar, that would kind of miss the point - this is taking one person a week that has made a significant impact on you, how you interact, how you live, how you use a tool or how you make your living, or your life in general. With that said, why not send the Tweet with your one #SundayStar several times through-out the day so that more of your followers get to see who is shining in your life at this moment?
Whether they shone last week, yesterday, or 5 minutes ago matters not. If they have touched you, inspired you, made a difference in your life or otherwise made a change in you - this is the tag to use.
What would be really cool, if you could all do it like this: Go to your blog (make a new blog if you don't have one) and write a short post about this person that has completely touched your life in a special way. Then, in your Tweet put the persons name (@name) a link to the post and #SundayStar. Then, we can all read how great this person has made a difference to YOU.
